Tincture of wax moth larvae is made by infusing Galleria Melonella (large wax moth) larvae in a 40% alcohol solution for 1 month. The larvae concentration of the finished tincture is 20% (20 g larvae per 100ml of alcohol). You have the option of receiving the tincture with the larvae removed (just the liquid) or the larvae kept in (liquid with some larvae at the bottom of the jar). This tincture has been historically used as an alternative medicine to aid in the recovery of pulmonary issues. Many pathogenic viruses and bacteria have a protective shell, which properties resemble wax that is resistant to chemical attack. Digestive enzymes of wax moths break down wax, which is its main source of food. It is theorized that disease-causing viruses and bacteria exposed to this enzyme have their protective shell broken and are destroyed. For adults, use at the rate of 5-7 drops per 25 lbs of body weight, diluted in about 2oz of water at room temperature once a day 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals. Can be taken 1-3 times a day. Disclaimer:These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
